Summary of this Book...
A killer flu has hit the U.S. At first, people think it's just a common cold, but they soon start dying. It becomes obvious this is a terrorist attack, and the hunt begins - for the perpetrators behind the attack and for the cure to save the world.
This type of Book is good for...
Fans of medical suspense novels and mysteries.
I especially liked... | ||
the idea behind the novel. I'm very intrigued by natural disasters, disease, plague, etc. This book feeds on the fear in us all of a biological warfare attack.
I didn't like... | ||
that the book failed to keep me in suspense. I didn't particularly care about any of the (many) characters itnroduced, and the book seemed to move very slowly. I didn't find it suspenseful or thrilling in any way.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Start reading a good book.
This Book made me feel...
fairly let down. | ||
I don't recommend this Book because...
it fails to start. It introduces too many characters (with similar-sounding names), too many subplots, too little action. I didn't care about any of the characters or even about the outcome of the novel. It failed to engage me in any way.
Further Comments... | ||
I definitely do not recommend this book, unless you've got nothing else to read. Although some have found this to be suspenseful and gripping, I did not. My advice: Skip this one.
