This type of Book is good for...
Fans of thrilling and scary reads.
I especially liked... | ||
I always enjoy the writing style of Dean Koontz, and this novel is no exception.
I didn't like... | ||
This novel just didn't have the feel of Koontz' previous works. His latest books have revolved around a struggle between good and evil and his novels often have a central message or philosophy to them. I didn't get that feel from this book, so it seemed to lack depth compared to his other work.
This Book made me feel...
a little cheated. I wouldn't go so far as to say this is Koontz worst novel or that I didn't find any enjoyment, but for me, it wasn't as good as most of his other work.
I recommend this Book because...
it did scare me. There were several times I found myself jumping at a shadow or needing to put the book down and take a break from it because I was scared. It's a thrilling read that would make a great scary movie!
I don't recommend this Book because...
For me, this book just doesn't compare to the majority of work published by Dean Koontz. Don't take this novel as an example of his work! Also, you might want to skip this one if you don't like children's lives being threatened.
