Detective Zeke Brawer finds himself under the eye of a particularly fierce Internal Affairs investigator. He finds strength in his family even as they enter the realm of danger. This book keeps you guessing until the very end!

I think anyone in a biker gang would appreciate the portrayal of their life, and those with little knowledge of that type of group would be interested to learn what it's like.

The author doesn't pull any punches. The language and violence isn't held back or glossed over at all.

The writing at the start of the novel is very strong, but in the last quarter, I noticed quite a few grammatical & spelling errors. I thought the editing could have been a tad tighter.

a little scared. The book shows some of the deepest darkness within the human heart and mind. It also made me appreciate my family and their strength, as the family in the book show true loyalty to one another.
