Club Ties continues the saga started with Club Justice. In this volume, the main characters have become Mox and his newly found love interest Eva. Eva is someone The Lords of Mayhem Club comes to love and protect after Mox finds her battered and hiding behind the garbage bin, but Rocco Soriano, the ruthless mobster, is after Eva with revenge on his mind.

This is a love and loyalty story not only between Eva and Mox, but also among the members of the bikers club. The relationship between Eva and Mox is very similar to that of Ginny and Zeke, though probably on purpose. Other characters even the villains are thoroughly believable, as each character is unique and fully developed.

The story is written with skill, and just about every paragraph adds to its suspense. So much so that, one wants to read it in one sitting.

I especially like the big family idea behind this series, even if some of the biker lingo seems to be prejudiced one way or another, but then, whatever is said is uttered in good faith. Maybe that can serve to overlook some of the politically incorrect wording and actions.

Although I am not a fan of novels in series, I'll read anything this author writes because she makes sure that every book has a satisfactory end before the next book starts.
