Summary of this Book...
In the last Midnight Breed novel, we were at the edge of First Dawn, and Mira and Kellan were children. Now, it is 20 years later. The Breed live openly among humans and Mira is grown. Kellan is dead. Or is he? Can they cheat destiny to find a way for Kellan to live?
This type of Book is good for...
Any fans of vampire novels, and all fans of Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series.
I especially liked... | ||
Getting to know some of the other children of previous characters from earlier novels.
I didn't like... | ||
The first half of the book was slow and I found it easy to put down and hard to pick back up. But once I got past halfway, it had all the drama and appeal of Lara's earlier novels.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read another in the series! There is a novella out that shares Gideon and Savannah's story, but the next full novel in the series hasn't been released yet.
Further Comments... | ||
This is the 11th full-length novel in Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed novel. The other 10 novels, and the novella that was Danika's story, were exceptional. Enthralling, addictive and highly enjoyable. I definitely recommend starting with the first book in the series and reading them in order. There is an ongoing backstory that is really only appreciated when the books are read in order. Having said that, book 2, Dante's story, was my favourite.
