Summary of this DVD... | ||
This is a dopey star-studded romantic comedy with a predictable plot. The stars are likeable, but unremarkable in their roles. I expected better when I saw that Garry Marshall directed. He is usually so much better (Pretty Woman) than this.
This type of DVD is good for...
anyone who wants to kill some time by watching a lot of movie stars earn a lot of money for very little effort. I can see why it is currently $3.99 at Amazon.com even though it came out in 2010.
I especially liked... | ||
Jennifer Garner and I don't usually like her. She and Ashton Kutcher were cute together, which was unexpected.
I didn't like... | ||
the fact that it was so dull, even with all these stars, that I nodded off a time or two.
This DVD made me feel...
like I'm glad I got it cheap at the used book place for credits.
The cast of this DVD... | ||
is star studded, but really, don't these people read scripts at all?
I don't recommend this DVD because...
it is stupid and predictable. I would only say you should watch it if you tremendously admire any of the stars. I ended up with a better opinion of Jennifer Garner than I had before.
