A group of friends go on a Mexican holiday. They make friends with some other tourists. They end up all going to check on the brother of their German friend. He has gone on a archaeological dig of some sort in the jungle.

The group ends up trapped in a place of unimaginable horror. If you intend to go on a trip to Mexico, I do not recommend reading this book unless you want to be scared out of your mind.

One of the villains is a plant. This book is scary and memorable. I will never visit another country where they do not speak English after reading this book.

it is a page turner and very scary and horrifying. At times, I could not believe what I was reading. Do not read it if you are easily upset or scared.
