Summary of this DVD... | ||
This is a show we watch on disk from Netflix. In this Season 7, it starts after Julia is proved innocent of her husband's murder. It is James Gillies who is the culprit. Murdoch and company transport him to his hanging by train and, of course, they misplace him and he is missing, presumed dead during the rest of the season. His presence hangs over the show as they solve their cases. The season ends with Murdoch and Julia engaged and Crabtree and Emily estranged. Then there is the beating of Thomas Brackenreid. We do not know if he will survive to be there in Season 8. This is a cast that has hung together for 7 seasons. I hope no one is going to leave now. I would be very disappointed if Brackenreid were to leave. So, I am not happy with the end of season 7 cliff hanger. But, this is a great show about mystery, invention and discovery and I will continue to watch and enjoy.
This type of DVD is good for...
anyone who likes a good Steampunk mystery, with lots of humor and violence, set at the turn of the 20th century in Toronto Canada.
I especially liked... | ||
all the characters, but sometimes their naive behavior is beyond belief, as when Julia takes in and trusts Darcy's slimy brother, who ends up breaking up Crabtree and Emily.
The cast of this DVD... | ||
is excellent. I wouldn't want any of them to leave the show.
