Summary of this Book... | ||
So, Alcatraz has infiltrated the downtown library; reclaimed the magic sand that makes the magic (and mythical) Translator's Lens; rescued his dad from an afterlife of shelf-stacking in the Alexandrian Library; rescued (sorta) the beautiful princess from the turncoat knight who lives on a giant crystal mushroom*.... so now it's time for book IV. And in book IV Alcatraz has to travel to besieged Mokia (along with that pesky beautiful princess, a small cousin with a fondness for grenades, and somehow save the entire country from those evil librarians. *If none of this makes sense, go back and read books I-III, seriously - DO NOT START HERE. | ||
This type of Book is good for... | ||
Reading after books I-III; no really, Alcatraz is a wonderful mish-mash of fantasy sarcasm, but it will NOT make sense if you don't start at book I. | ||
I especially liked... | ||
Little Aydee's proclamation on being told the teddy bears she liked where grenades; "I know. I love grenades!" | ||
