Summary of this DVD... | ||
Well, this is confusing. I think this is what I saw as Part 7 of Mad Men on Netflix. It just came out there, but on the DVD they are treating it as Part 1 of the Final Season. It was 7 episodes and the second part starts soon on AMC. I found the first seven episodes a little confusing. Bert Cooper dies in the 7th episode, which was sad. Throughout the whole thing Don Draper (Jon Hamm) is struggling to get back to his professional best. They treat him terribly at the firm, thanks mostly to Harry Hamlin, but you can really tell who is loyal and who isn't after Don built the agency to begin with. The ending of the 7th season implies that things will change radically in the second half for Don in a positive way. I didn't think this seventh season or part one of the final season was as eventful as seasons past. I was confused and I feel like I will probably watch the whole thing over on Netflix Streaming in order to understand the total dynamics of the office politics. It is still a very entertaining show, but I have never liked Megan with Don, so I was glad to see them split up.
I especially liked... | ||
Jon Ham as Don Draper and John Slaughtery as Roger Sterling. They are awesome actors!
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
watch the whole thing over because I am a bit confused about the resolution they reached at the end.
The cast of this DVD... | ||
is outstanding. | ||
