Summary of this Book...
This is an autobiography that I read on Kindle. Jeanne Cooper is a famous matriarchal character on the Young and the Restless for many decades. She also had a wonderful career in early television that led to her being cast in the soap opera. I watched Y&R back in the day and her gossip about the actors was interesting and juicy. I never imagined her having behind the scenes affairs because she always seemed so old to me at the time I watched. Who knew that all that went on? Also, her son is Corbin Bernson of L.A. Law fame, so there is some interesting stuff about him. Her tone that she takes is very sarcastic and funny, which made for a very enjoyable read. This isn't great literature, but it's an entertaining story and I enjoyed reading it. Eric Braedon is still a big cheese on the Young and the Restless, so the stuff about him was pretty interesting.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
read another book on my Kindle. It has been a while since I used the Kindle for anything other than Internet and I forgot how much I enjoyed that.
The author of this Book...
has passed away since it was published. She wrote this in the last years of her life and she was very sharp and funny when she wrote it. I enjoyed reading her words as I always associate her with Mrs. Chancellor and being a big mean you know what on Young and Restless.
