Summary of this DVD... | ||
This movie is an interesting portrait of a family with a dysfunctional relationship between mother and son, mostly due to a dysfunctional son, in my opinion. The son ends up committing a mass murder and the mother is blamed for it by others in the community. It also shows how victims families and friends treat the family of the culprit. I believe this is often true.
This type of DVD is good for...
People interested in exploring a lessor viewed part of mass murders--the side of the culprit's family. It's also good for those who like a lot of imagery in their movies. This one is LOADED with it.
I especially liked... | ||
Watching how the mother dealt with things after her son attacked and killed (with a bow and arrows) students in his school.
I didn't like... | ||
It was heavier on imagery than I prefer in my movies. But that's just personal preference.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Think more about what the families go through when their loved one is the one responsible for the death and suffering of others.
The cast of this DVD... | ||
This movie had some really great acting. I thoroughly enjoyed all the kids who played Kevin, the murderer.
I recommend this DVD because...
It's interesting and portrays a part of society we don't normally think about.
