Several noble houses- Baratheon, Lannister, Stark- fights a civil war over who should take the Iron throne and become a king while exiled princess, Daenerys Targaryen, whose father was a ruler of seven kingdoms before Robert Baratheon's rebellion, is gathering an army to invade Westeros and take what rightfully belong to her all while the kingdom is threatened by a raising supernatural species in the North.

If you are lover of historical events mixed with fantasy elements. Game of Thrones is full of "based on a true story" settings and scenes and you might even learn a little bit of history that you weren't familiar with all while dragons belch the fire and "based on a real myth" White Walkers approach to Westeros, threatening to turn everyone into a frozen zombies.

Everything. I know there are people who are critic experts, whose job is to find "a hair in egg" but to me Game of Thrones is pure perfection, from the story till characters, special effects, cast and I'm not sure there's anything that would bother me or bore me in any moment. I got addicted and excited from the moment I saw the very first scene and that excitement didn't disappear even after re-watching the same episodes all over again.

Watch the series all over again which I, eventually, did. When I first watched Game of Thrones I did it in "one seating"- I sat and watched the episodes one after another all day long because it is highly addictive. However, due to complex story plot and its characters, first time is hard to catch up with every single detail, especially when you have written books, fan theories and just overall discussion on Facebook. You simply have to re-watch the whole thing few more times to catch up with everything.

Addictive. Game of Thrones is a 21st century's masterpiece and I'm really glad I was born in time the world got crazy over this TV show. I literally have no idea what am I going to do with my life once the final season is aired.

You won't get disappointed. I found it hard when people asked me why they should spare some free time and give a chance to first few episodes of Game of Thrones because I never knew why exactly would I recommend it to anyone. The reason why I was convinced was that I didn't want to be among those people who didn't want to watch the show just because of its high rate of popularity- you know something like: I don't want to watch something just because everyone else is watching it- but the truth is that you should. Never in my life have I witnessed any TV show as popular as Game of Thrones. Never in my life have I watch anything similar. The story plot, characters everything is just so perfectly planned and written. I swear, you will lose your mind over it.
