Another great installment from Hutchinson. I will continue with the series and I'm really looking forward to book 3.

As a side note, I did not expect to get attached to a little ball of space goo, but it happened.

This book was not as funny as the first (but still really funny). It took a more serious tone, and it allowed for some good character development without losing its purpose or sacrificing what makes these books so fun.

In other words: Hutchinson did a great job of giving us a solid comedy with serious moments that made sense, and he didn't make a hot mess of his book or plot.
