This is a heartwarming historical Christian romance set in Texas and featuring the romance between an unusual young woman and a man with a secret past. There's also a side romance between the young lady the hero and heroine rescue and one of the heroine's brothers.

There's a lot of action, some humor, some great faith moments, an interesting plot line and I would say this is one of the better books of its genre.

People looking for Christian romance, historical stories with action, sweet romance and/or faith based fiction.

The characters in the Hamilton homestead, male and female. And Logan, once he made his hero's journey.

Know what happened to Zach. Hopefully that will be the feature in the next book in the series.

Sad for the prejudice against Evangeline, thrilled at her love for others and animals despite her poor treatment from those outside her family. Interested in how things would play out with Logan's internal conflict and the villains' schemes.

Has written other books that I've really enjoyed. I think I first found her at the Seekerville blog.

I enjoyed reading it.
