Summary of this Book...
Written after In the Strawberry Patch, this followup features an assortment of travel stories complete with actual pictures taken by the author.
This type of Book is good for...
After being cooped up in the house for a few months, a book like this is a good escape.
I especially liked... | ||
I especially liked the style and format chosen for this book. It's intimate and really feels like there's a connection between author and reader. Also, I'm not sure I'd voluntarily take my mother too far from home, but I no longer have the chance to spend time with my dad. Reading about a father-daughter trip filled me with nostalgia. You can clearly see the affection between the two.
I didn't like... | ||
My only complaint is rather trivial and I'm sure no one else will care. The size of the book is 8.5 x 11 inches. Although it ensures I can read the lettering, it doesn't quite fit right next to the previous book.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
After finishing this book I was inspired to whisk my daughters away on an epic road trip. Since we're quarantined, however, I chose to sort my postcard collection instead.
This Book made me feel...
The overall book just has a "feel good" kind of vibe.
The author of this Book...
The author of this book is WDC Prefered Member, Jessica Cavaliere. Her previous book, In the Strawberry Patch is a must for your reading list.
I recommend this Book because...
Cabin fever sucks, but a travel book that reads like a letter from a dear friend is sure to cheer you up.
