This is the fifth in the author's "A Court of Thorns and Roses" series. It's another great epic novel, full of magic, power, drama, intrigue and suspense. This installment features the love story of Nesta and Cassian, but it's so much more than a love story. It's more of the story of Nesta overcoming the things that happened to her early in life and in the past books and learning to find her true power... and learning to make true friends for the first time in her life. It also furthers the stories of her sisters and other interesting characters from the previous books. I enjoyed it greatly.

People who like romance, suspense, paranormal, mystery, magical, and other-worldly stories.

Nesta's growth. The bond between her, Gwyn and Emerie. Cassian's character. Feyre.... everything about her. Really, I liked most of the "good" characters. The magical elements were especially interesting (especially the house!). Maas has a gift for tying things together and drawing out deep emotion. The world she created.

The length of time Nesta spent in misery and denial. Personally, I think this would have been better as three books but I'll take what I can get from this author. She did make it shorter than some of the previous books (under 800 pages whereas I seem to remember some topped 900 pages in the past) though. Also I don't think the graphic sex scenes were necessary.
