It does not go into deep detail about reading and writing poetry like a textbook for a college course, but the reader will learn enough to have a wonderful experience while reading poetry. This book makes a good quick reference for learning the details of what goes into the different styles of poetry.

I like the broad spectrum of the details of the different styles of poetry because I can do a brief study and still enjoy reading this genre. every topic is brief yet complete allowing readers to understand the nuances of poetry and its different constructions.

I liked everything about this book. It is organized so readers can look up particular topics and read the brief necessities about each poetry type. Having a grand-scale abundance of reference material is wonderful.
