The Perfumist of Paris is the perfect ending to The Jaipur Trilogy. The theme of the forgotten woman runs strongly through this book, and shows that women can be weathered and beaten, but don't have to be broken. The trilogy highlights strong women who exercise their right to make choices and to challenge social norms to make a productive life for themselves. This book has a very touching ending. And still, family is everything, whether members are by blood, by adoption, or by choice.

anyone who enjoys reading about the bonds that tie family members together, the storms they weather together and how they come out stronger for them.

the clearing up of misunderstandings, the show of real forgiveness and love, and the strong bond of the family.

sad to be saying goodbye to the characters I'd come to know and love.
