Summary of this Book...
This is my favourite book. While I know it might not be the best written book, and there are flaws, I do not care. For me, this is the best book I have read. The three sections told in 1st, then 3rd, then back to 1st person PoV, the slow deterioration of Arnie into LeFay, Dennis not being the most heroic of main characters, and Christine herself, the Plymouth Fury with a mind of her own (it's in LeFay's name, I guess), all comes together to create a compelling, terrifying whole.
This type of Book is good for...
People who like the slow-burn horror, a good tale that builds and builds until it gets incredibly intense.
I especially liked... | ||
The characters; they were what originally drew me in, and still do to this day.
The author of this Book...
Stephen King had produced many great books, and I like too many of them. he consistently (though not always) brings it when he writes. And he is still going to this day.
I recommend this Book because...
It is a genuine tale of horror with a "big bad" that just seems too realistic to be dismissed entirely.
Further Comments... | ||
People often do not understand how I can like this book so much, but there it is - my favourite ever book. Simple, really. Of course, I recommend it.
