Summary of this Book...
The similarities in myth, architecture, science, and language of the most ancient cultures of Earth.
I especially liked... | ||
The fact that it tries to answer many of the questions left unanswered. I felt very hopeful that there really was this mystic bond between everyone on earth.
I didn't like... | ||
The fact that many traditional historians do not agree with many of the theories in this book. It makes me very suspicious of both traditional historical viewpoints as well as the theories put forth by Hancock.
The author of this Book...
Is very passionate about his topic. I am afraid sometimes he doesn't give enough credence to traditional historical theories. Dismissing them altogether seems rather extreme. Other than that, he puts forth an intriguing argument.
I recommend this Book because...
It really stirs your imagination. It makes things like Atlantis possible. It's a perfect book for a fantasy writer, a mystic, a member of the Cayce Foundation, but it is also able to relate to people like me who is only a moderate supporter of such enterprises.
Further Comments... | ||
May not be for everyone, but I felt like Hancock did a great job in convincing me of most of his theories.
