Summary of this Book...
Elinor and Marianne Dashwood, two eligible sisters both have good chances at love but find them diverted to their despair.
I especially liked...
Mrs. Jennings was funny and Colonel Brandon is very intriguing as an Austen character.
I didn't like...
Lucy Steele. 'Nuff said.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
See the movie and I did, it's awesome.
This Book made me feel...
Frustrated that Austen hadn't written more!
The author of this Book...
Is very funny once you learn to recognize her humor and although she is a bit wordy, her characterizations are amazing.
I recommend this Book because...
If you liked "Pride and Prejudice" you'll like this.
Further Comments...
Austen doesn't really get into the main plot until several chapters in. Now that I've read it, I can see why it's nesecary but when reading it I was kind of bored. It got much better though as it went on. In some respects it's better than "Pride and Prejudice" but they both have their good and bad moments.
