Her wonderful descriptions, the Companions, and the great writting style.

I cried. That's ALL I'm saying.

Read the rest of the Heralds of Valdemar series. Yay, I'm not even close to 1/2 way done! Score!

Sad, in awe, amazed.

Has written about 20 more in the Valdemar series, and many more outside of that. Staring from her 1st book, and series, Arrows of the Queen, in 1985, she's stilling going strong.

It's wonderfully done, and for the Valdemarian fan, gives details and insites about the country and the Heralds, etc, from about 300 years before Talia's time.

It's very intense, and sad in some parts.

Very good book, read it!
