Terrorists from an unknown country come to America and hijack a schoolbus filled with Kindergarteners and a teenaged driver going to a daycamp. The story is told through the eyes of a terrorist (Miro), a hostage (Kate), an Army general, and the Army general's son (Ben). Robert Cormier captures the thoughts of each of the main characters, making even the evilest person seem human. Robert Cormier has the ability to write a book that you just don't want to put down. I recommend.
