If you're for the books, it helps you see the the other side's point of view without giving into usual accusations of closed-mindedness. If you're against the books, it will help you see where Christian fans of the series are coming from and it will explain the truth so you don't have to rely on rumor and speculation.

No reason not to. Everyone should read this book.
