Eight year before Danny was born, on Halloween night, his father was working at a movie theatre when a terrible accident killed twenty-two children.



The phone calls start a week or two before the anniversary every October. At all hours of the day and night, the harrassers call, which aggrevates Danny immensely. His father does nothing about it - just answers the phone, listens calmly for a few minutes, never saying a word, then hangs up.



Danny has been told never to answer the phone - ever. But Danny wants to be just like all the other sixteen year olds, and one day when he's home alone, he doesn't listen . . .
