Years ago, Hal Jordan was the designated Green Lantern of Earth. After his city was destroyed, he went crazy and mounted an attack on the planet Oa, home of the Green Lantern Corps. After taking all the power from the Battery Core, he becomes Parallax, a dangerous being. He would eventually save the planet from The Sun Eater at the cost of his own life. After his death, he was picked to be the next Spectre, an omniscient being that knows all and sees all.



Fast forward to the present, Tom Kalmaku, Hal Jordan's best friend and confidant, still deals with the anger and pain of what Hal did. Most importantly, he is angry Hal never said goodbye. Hal, now in the guise as the Spectre, will send Tom a gift left over from Hal's final will and testament with one request....'Fix It'.

The artwork was well done, as well as a decent story plot.

In the middle, it will get confusing and it make take some readers to really grasp what is happening. It took me a second look to draw my own conclusions on what happened.

The puzzling storyline threw me for a loop.

Warning to all Green Lantern fans, the authors of this book have never worked on the Green Lantern comic book before, so I think they really didn't do much of their homework on the characters.

If you're a comic book reader who can also think on an extra plane, you may like this.

Casual readers beware. If you are just a fan of superhero movies or TV shows, this may not be easy to read.
