Summary of this Book...
This book provides information on Patricia Cornwell's investigation of the Jack the Ripper Case. She describes her investigation step-by-step and offers many different pieces of legitimate evidence to prove the killer's identity--artist Walter Sickert.

The Author provides a thorough psychological description of the serial killer's mind, as well as Walter Sickert's background, his mental and physical health, his habits, his associates, and many examples of his art, handwriting, and pictures of him.

Patricia Cornwell adequately describes the sociology and history of the people of this time period in England, the background of all of the people who were known to be a part of the Ripper investigation, and the background of the Ripper's known victims.

She also divulges why the case was not solved then, and how exactly the case was botched.
