Summary of this Book...
a young girl in 1800 France learning about herself and witchcraft. Brought up in a convent, she learned the ways of the church. As she grew older, she knew she was different, and was informed of her heritage as a witch. Her first duty as a witch is to release a spirit from the clutches of purgatory.
I especially liked... | ||
how religion and witchcraft were intertwined, being equal.
I didn't like... | ||
the long drawn out history lessons that were completely unneccessary.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
read a different book | ||
This Book made me feel...
bored | ||
The author of this Book...
didn't really put much story into this. Just a history of 19th century france and a few witchcraft tidbits.
I recommend this Book because...
it makes a great paperweight.
I don't recommend this Book because...
it's boring. | ||
Further Comments... | ||
I guess I just didn't get it. What happened to Romeo? Will he be a he or a she now? Why dump the jewels in the water? She could have sold them for what she needed. I totally regret buying this book.
