didn't really put much story into this. Just a history of 19th century france and a few witchcraft tidbits.

it makes a great paperweight.

it's boring.

I guess I just didn't get it. What happened to Romeo? Will he be a he or a she now? Why dump the jewels in the water? She could have sold them for what she needed. I totally regret buying this book.
