Summary of this Book...
"Expectations run high on this very special night, as children in the audiance wait for beautiful music to begin. What a shock when the first notes eard are the screeching and groaning of noisy intruments. Who can fx these broken sounds, topsy, turvy, upside down? Who will mend them, who will blend them? The eventual arrival of the conductor to make music out of muddle may be predictable, but there is a surprise in store. Who would expect a peite and powerful female conductor? Waving her wand left and right, she weaves ,agic fro mnoisy sounds."
