This is thought provoking reading. It established substantial characters that you will remember for a long time.

The story is fantastic. I have not read a book this satisfying in a long time. It makes you really care about the characters and the outcome of the story. It leaves you teetering on the edge throughout the book, thinking only the worst could happen. But then it twists your expectations into an outcome that you did not expect.

Maybe I'm brainwashed, but I think this book is perfect. There's nothing about I did not appreciate. I am wracking my brain right now because I can usually think of something that bugged me, but nothing comes to mind.

Dean Koontz, if you don't know, is the author of a lot of books. He is up there with King when it comes to horror.

It is one of the all-time most satisfying and enjoyable books ever.
