Anyone. It's not too long, nor short, and once one starts reading it, they can't stop.

The setting. It is placed in a futuristic world that isn't all that unrealistic. United States is constantly under threat of a nuclear war and books are entirely forgotten, replaced by ostentatious technology. This book really makes you think of what the future will be like. Will we completely cast out books?

Hmmm...the ending was quite abrupt. I didn't especially like it. And it was sort of open ended, like it could have a sequel, but it doesn't.

That I should appreciate books more. You never know...in the future, they could be taken away.

Is quite amazing. He uses very vivid details in his book, and his characters are incredible and complex.

It forces one to realize how important books are in our lives. It shows what the world would be like without them. It makes one aware of the impact books have on our lives.
