Summary of this Book...
A fictional land called Akora, a prince named Gavin Hawkforte and a mysterious woman called Persephone. Akora is about to suffer a major catastrophe, a volcano is about to rip their island kingdom apart. The kingd is away and its up to Gavin and Persephone to save the nation. This type of Book is good for...
A quick read while you wait for something.
I especially liked... | ||
Use of Greek and Roman mythology to base the Akoran society. It gave Akora some depth.
I didn't like... | ||
The probability of the plot. I had a lot of problems with it. In the early 1800's they manage to evacuate 350,000 people from an isolated island nation, put to sea and return home with little volcanic damage and no disasters at sea with the little fishing fleet.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Put it away- I wont read this one again.
The author of this Book...
I've read other books by Josie Litton and enjoyed them more.
Further Comments... | ||
I haven't read the other books in the Akoran series- they might be better. Background characters appeared to have stories based in other books.
