Summary of this DVD... | ||
The movie musical blockbuster based on the Broadway stageshow- If you love musicals, you wont be disappointed. The sets, costumes and performances are lavish and well done. You might not like the story... It's Chicago in the 1920's. Everything and everybody is corrupt and trying to put one over on somebody else. THe cops, the criminals, the media and even the prison guard. There are no good guys. But you'll find yourself cheering for the lady who murdered her lover and tried to blame it on the hubby. It's Chicago!
This type of DVD is good for...
A feel good toe tapping time. The script is written with a fine eye for satire.
I especially liked... | ||
Costumes! Wow! Music- great score. Cinematography- the play between the stage and "real life" was a lot of fun.
I didn't like... | ||
The main characters. Roxie wasn't very likeable-neither was Velma. Nor the lawyer- you get it.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Watch it again. | ||
The cast of this DVD... | ||
A surprise on many levels. Who knew all these guys could sing and dance? And yes, its all their own work.
Further Comments... | ||
