Summary of this Book...
It is a book for you about you. I call it "The Journal Lover's Dream." If you want to record your thoughts, feelings, ideas, and ideals on life, this is the perfect book to get you started thinking. This questionnaire book covers everything from Childhood Memories, Family, Friends, and Favorites to Wishes and Dreams, Fears, Your Psyche, Views on God, and Choices.
This type of Book is good for...
everyone, though more for teens and adults than children. It's a fact of life that everyone's favorite topic (whether they admit it or not) is him or herself. This book makes an ideal gift.
I especially liked... | ||
how indepth the questions get. For example, in the "Friends" section, here are a few of the questions: The friend you miss the most: When was the last time you saw this friend? When do you think you'll see this friend again? A friend who makes you laugh: A friend to whom you can go for advice: The best piece of advice this friend gave you: A friend you can have adventures with: The best adventure you had with this friend: A friend you would like to kiss: A friend you may lose soon: A friend who does or believes in something you cannot respect: Describe what it is that you cannot respect: This was just a sample of the questions just in the "Friends" section alone and doesn't begin to encompass it all.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
get one for all my friends!
This Book made me feel...
valued. It was comforting to know that my thoughts matter enough that they can be written down for posterity this way. It also helped me see into parts of myself I had neglected to explore--either out of avoidance, or just not paying attention. It helped me see better who I am, and what my values really are.

I recommend this Book because...
It is a wonderous awakening to who you are. Believe it when I say, you will the find subject matter absolutely fascinating. I'm not alone in my thoughts. "With questions like this, who needs Barbara Walters?" - Entertainment Weekly "Combines the form of a personal journal with the function of a psychiatrist's couch." - New York Times Magazine "Instead of sitting in the chair and wondering what to say when your shrink asks you how you feel, you can stay at home and grill yourself the Keel way." - Stephanie Theobald, The European
