This is a collection of essays, published by Writer's Digest, to assist writers everywhere. There are some terrific, insightful lessons taught that will help you with your writing, even if you AREN'T a novelist.

Anyone who writes fiction, even if it's just short stories. There is so much in here to help you pump your writing up. In fact, it's also good for readers, because it has given me a sharper sense of what to look for (and good advice to share) when I R&R on Writing.com

Write, write, write some more! Also read it again, buy my own copy to mark up, and um, write some more! I know that to get a lot of this to stick, I'll have to read it again, and I'm looking forward to it.

There were several different authors, one editor. The writer's did a fantastic job of explaining and suggesting; the editor did a good job with oragnizing.

It is a great way to hone your skills, and it really teaches you something.

It's not a straight read, it takes awhile to get through. I read three or four essays a night, then had to think about them for awhile.

This was very intersting to read, and I felt like I learned a lot.
