This is first book in "Sword of Truth" serie. The story is about Richard Cypher, who works as a woods guide in Westland. His father had been killed and he's trying to find out the truth. Then, one day he meets a nice girl Kahlan Amnell. Four terrifying men are after her. He needs to choose and he chooses... to save her. She has a secret, he has too. Richards' best friend, Zeddicus, who's in reality is his grandfather, accompanies them in their quest of saving the world from Darken Rahl, the Lord of D'Hara... As the story grows you meet many magical creatures as Dragons and Gars, encover the secrets of the main characters and, when the book is finished, you feel disappointed - it ended up in the most interesting place! So, you wait the next one!

This book makes you think. Think about everything that happens in the story and also in your own life.

I liked everything. This book takes you in the fanthasy world from the very beginning and never lets go... From the very first sentence I felt like being inside that wonderful world, full of magic, adventures and dangers!

Read the next one. And when I read the second - Stone of Tears, I was already waitin or the next. So, by now now I've read all seven that are written

It's really worth reading it: it's interesting, wise, funny and very realistic.
