Summary of this Book...
God is a Verb delves deeper into kabbalah, the practice of ancient Jewish mysticism. Several explanations, stories, and exercises are given to deepen one's study and connection with the Divine.
This type of Book is good for...
those studying kabbalah who are more advanced in their learning.
I especially liked... | ||
Rabbi Cooper's way of storytelling to teach/illustrate concepts. His tales are simple, yet so powerful!
I didn't like... | ||
that some of the concepts were foreign to me. I suppose it is my own fault for not realizing that the book is a little more advanced, but I don't regret buying it. I realized it's better if one is more advanced in studying kabbalah, because some concepts may be foreign to beginning learners, or hard to grasp.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
continue exploring kabbalah, and Judaism itself.
This Book made me feel...
at peace, and at the same time hungry for knowledge!
The author of this Book...
is a masterful spiritual leader.
I recommend this Book because...
Rabbi Cooper's writings and exercises will provide you with entertainment as well as a sense of contentment.
