The second book in a trilogy. The Duncan sisters inhabit London at the turn of the last century. And yes, they are going to fall in love. This book focuses on Prudence Duncan- the middle sister, the practical one. She is falling for a barrister of some repute- one Sir Gideon Malvern- who has been hired by the sisters to defend their gossip sheet "The Mayfair Lady" against a libel suit.

It's not set in the Regency period but pretty much follows the formula. The new time period allows for some new social issues to be discussed- such as Women's Suffrage, automobiles and birth control.

Well written- I have fallen for the trilogy.
