This is a sequel to Hex, and has the previous characters, plus a few more. What started out as Wraith and Raven in the last book, has grown to Wraith, Raven, Kez, Ali, and Luciel.

The story begins with all the individual problems of the characters. But they find themselve a little more united in purpose when two members of their group are caught... and one of those members is Raven.

Raven has been protector and provider for so long, everyone feels very lost. All of them feel that they should at least try a rescue attempt. But Raven was how they pulled the last rescue attempt off in the first place. She was their main resource... and now she's gone.
