A lusty romp indeed! OK- this poor guy- Magnus Ericsson- the said virile viking- has fathered 13 children- mostly because he enjoys a good tup with a good woman. He and most of his brood time travel to California where he meets his "destiny". There's lots of manly grunts and some wicked sexplay and lots of love. The real problem is that he loves his new woman- but has made a vow of chastity- because he wants no more children. Quite a problem when tupping is the first best thing a viking does.

A laugh- lots of wit involved. At no point should the story be taken seriously.

I will be searching for more books of hers- not necessarily the viking books- to see if this wit is pervasive in her writing- I'm hoping so.
