We continue with Roland Deschain of Gilead on his journey to the dark tower. The book picks up where it left off in the previous, and takes the party further along their journey to the Dark Tower. Throughout this story, you get a lot more of the back story on Roland and the course his journey had taken prior to the beginning of Book I. To give any more details would ruin the previous books.

This book is good for a great story!

I liked that you learned a lot about Roland and why he was like he was and the things that had happened to him along the way.

I didn't like that since this book contained a lot of back story, it read slower.

When I finished this book, I wanted to pick up Book V and start reading, but of course I was disappointed because I haven't bought Book V yet.

It made me understand the story a lot better.

The author came up with a lot of information and has woven this story even tighter.

I recommend this book for those who would like to continue reading from the previous three Dark Tower books.

I don't recommend this if you haven't read the previous three books.
