Meet Son Goku, an adorable little monkey boy. He's naive to the 'Modern World', for he's grown up in the middle of the forest. Along comes Bulma, who's on a quest to find the seven Dragon Balls, which will grant any wish. Together Goku and Bulma set off on a wild adventure and encounter a few very silly and strange 'bad guys'.

Anime and manga fans and anyone looking for a good laugh. I found this volume of the Dragon Ball manga especially hilarious.

Like rolling around on the floor laughing until I couldn't breathe.

Akira Toriyama, who has a great sense of humor and creates memorable characters.

It's a fun read and you'll spend the entire time laughing like a fiend.

There is some nudity and the humor tends to lean toward the crude side. If these things bother you, I wouldn't recommend reading this manga. Also, the manga reads right to left, which can be confusing when you first start out.

If you've just discovered manga, this is a great series to begin collecting.
