Summary of this Book...
Passage To Romance is a delightful romp in the eyes of a woman named Sheridan Forbes. The novel may well be an excellent line from the book: "like a Thomas Kinkaid picture". Immediately, the reader finds a unique "passage" to the past. That is . . . 1763 on a Pirate Ship bound for London. Denise Sinn delivers a cast of characters like strawberries ripe for the picking. First, the Pirate Black Hawk, then the lover she finally falls for--Lord Jarred Winston, are loveable characters. Lord Jarred is thirty years old, an eventually perfect age for Sheridan Forbes. Sheridan Forbes, was a nurse, now an editor of a mag in Seagull, Maine. She begins her journey from the modern day into the eighteenth century as her world is shattered.
This type of Book is good for...
Sinn looks at characters in a positive romantic way. Take for instance the villainess Zelda, through most of the book, Sheridan Forbes has not succumbed to the evil in her. This novel puts me in mind of a dreamy fog night in London, a place that I myself have visited. Denise Sinn takes us through a delightful love affair. The time-scheme too, is well-placed with suspense. I liked the length of chapters and the twist of fate at the end.
