Summary of this Book...
Beautiful Rebecca is running from a domineering boyfriend, who just happens to also be a member of the Nazi's, with now lover Richard, both origanily from America. When they run out of money in Romania, they are thrown off the train they were on and happen into Maria and Gregor. Soon they are to find that Maria is Countess to Count Viroslav and Gregor is their manservant, and they offer santuary to the fleeing couple. Through lavish dinner parties and masquerade balls, Rebecca is lured into an erotic tryst with the beautiful couple. Richard on the other hand is held prisoner away from Rebecca and "played with" by Countess Maria. Eventually the Nazi's figure out where the couple is hiding, but not before Rebecca is coccooned by the erotic vampire birth ritual. But she witnesses Gregor turning over her beloved Richard to her torchurous ex. ... Hell has no fury as a beautiful newborn vampire!
This type of Book is good for...
Die hard vampire fans that don't mind a twist now and then on the specifics of the legands
I especially liked... | ||
the twist on the vampires thirsts. Not only do they have an unquenchable thirst for blood, but sex as well!
I didn't like... | ||
the tragic ending that was minimalized by the unclosed epilogue. I guess she wanted you to "thirst" for more!
This Book made me feel...
do I have to spell it out for you...? Dark magic, handsome men, beautiful women, desire and sex; now add a bit of chocolate with the blood red wine and you tell me!
