Bean is back on Earth after helping the infamous Ender defeat mankind's greatest enemy, the Buggers. Now mankind has a new enemy: itself. Without their old common enemy, will the major nations of a planet tear each other apart?

Seeing Peter Wiggin rise to the position of Hegemon. It was something that was only touched upon in the Ender Saga. Bean's Saga, taking place on Earth, gives me a first-hand view of my favorite character.

Characterization was not quite up to par with what I've come to expect from Card, but it's still worth the read.

Buy the next book in the series.

It is a good book. I've just come to expect brilliance from Card. When I get anything short of that, I tend to let my disappointment lead my judgments.
