Dean Kootnz lovers in particular. Anyone who likes a good mystery/suspense.

I've always been a Koontnz fan, but over the past few years, his books have been lacking something for me. This one was more in keeping with his old style of storytelling that made me fall in love with his work to begin with.

The ending. Not the way it ended, per se, but there was something that happened on the last page that he didn't clarify well enough and it left me wondering if what I thought happened really happened or if I just read too much into one cryptic sentence.

There was a short spoiler for The Husband at the end and it made me want to rush out and get that one too.

Creeped out, because there are crazy people out there that make this scenario way too probable in real life for my liking.

Is a master at making believable characters that you feel connected to and root for.

It was a definite page turner. Once you start, you won't want to put it down.

Excellent read. Highly recommended for all Kootnz fans who haven't read it yet. One of his best in a long time, since Fear Nothing.
