Summary of this Book...
Sara Nelson made a New Year's resolution to read an average of one book per week. This is a memoir of that year of reading and how it affected her life. It goes over how she chose books, how books chose here, and what it's like to get recommendations you hate and enjoy.

Pumping your own "to read" list. I had to keep a pencil and paper next to me as I read. When she'd talk about a book that intrigued me I'd jot it down. Reading this journal made me get to know her enough that I feel like I got suggestions from a friend along with a little bit of info on those suggestions.
I especially liked... | |||
The journal set-up of it. I'm not usually a fan of such things, but it really made this item flow. I could hear Nelson's voice by the time I reached the end.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Go out and buy a stack of books and hibernate with them for months.

I know how I want to continue in my reading efforts and I feel like I don't have to feel bad about the things I choose to read, and the things I choose to lay back down.
