The president's daughter has been kidnapped and taken to a remote and mysterious part of Europe. It's your mission as Leon S. Kennedy to locate her and rescue her from her captors, but you find there's much more to this kidnapping than you could expect as you encounter hypnotized villagers, cultists, and strange creatures.

Resident Evil 4 is great for mature players looking for a pinnacle of action gaming and survival horror.

The intense action and difficulty of the game. Some areas require quick reflexes and good strategy to get through. And there are lots of surprises.

Also, the characters and art direction are superb and interesting throughout the adventure.

The only fault I could think of is there are a few bosses and scenes where you want to know more about where they came from and why it's happening, but the game doesn't give you all the answers which leaves it very open.

Play it again on the harder Pro setting, as well as play through the new arcade style challenges.

Resident Evil 4 is a pulse pounding game. There are times when it will get your blood rushing as you fight back hordes of enemies, while other times you'll be creeping along in dark areas never sure when the next monster will drop in on you.

Shinji Mikami returned to direct this installment of the Resident Evil series and turned the whole game design upside down. No longer were there static backgrounds and cheap scares. The whole game was developed with exploration and action in mind.

This game is perhaps one of the best video games ever created. It excels in all areas. Graphics, sound, story, gameplay, and replayability.

The game can be gruesome at times with disgusting decapitations and creepy environments. If you can handle a few unsettling instances though, it's a fantastic game that shouldn't be missed.

If you are old enough to play Resident Evil 4, but haven't played it yet, you're missing out on one of the best game experiences ever created.
