Summary of this DVD... | ||
I didn't get the DVD of this but I saw the movie in theatres. It's about how the Fantastic Four get their powers by an explosion on this space shuttle, the four use it for good, a fifth one becomes the evil villian. They have to deal with their powers and how they use them.
This type of DVD is good for...
If you want to watch something fun.
I especially liked... | ||
I liked how they did some of the characters, and the effects they did on things looked very neat and luckily not cheesy with the effects they did on the Fantastic Four and what they did.
I didn't like... | ||
The villian is this movie was just ... sort of blah. I didn't feel any fear of him, I thought that he was just being silly and didn't think him to be that big of a competitor. There were also other things in the movie where it didn't seem to match up, and the romance between the two Fantastic Four I didn't feel anything really between them.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
I found it fun, but probably wouldn't see it again.
This DVD made me feel...
I found it fun to watch it with my Dad since he grew up with the Fantastic Four, and I had heard of them, but didn't know who they were.
The cast of this DVD... | ||
Were okay, not great though. Like I said with the villian he was sometimes just laughable and just was one of the worst villians I've seen on screen. I didn't hate him or feel any strong emotions for him, and the two Fantastic Four who were supposed to be in love, and then fall in love again just didn't seem to have any chemisty. And, it was predictable that they'd try to get back together again.
I recommend this DVD because...
I'd recommend it only because it was kind of a fun movie, but I'd only see it once though.
I don't recommend this DVD because...
I wouldn't watch this over and over again myself, so I'd just recommend renting it and seeing it once if you wanted to check it out. Of course, if you're crazy about it, definitely by the DVD if you really do like it. But, for me, it was good enough just seeing it once.
Further Comments... | ||
It's up to you if you'd buy the DVD or not, but I'd recommend renting it first though.
